In Bacalar there are several water-sports and activities to be enjoyed, such as safe swimming in the lagoon near the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, or sailing the calm & clear waters of the lagoon. You may also ride bikes, walk the trails among the lush vegetation and do some bird-watching. We suggest our guests to bring their own equipment or rent it locally in order to fully take advantage of this unique area.
